Are you mechanically inclined and looking for a hands-on opportunity in manufacturing? Kal Tire is seeking Tire Retread Technicians to join our team at our re-manufacturing facility in Bridgewater, NS for a Temporary/Contract period.
As a Tire Retread Technician, you'll play a key role in extending the life of commercial tires through the retreading process — helping reduce waste and support our commitment to sustainability. You'll be part of a close-knit production team that values precision, safety, and teamwork.

What to Expect in This Role:
To help you decide if this role is the right fit, here's what a typical day looks like:

  • You'll work in a manufacturing environment that can be warm, noisy, and fast-paced.
  • You'll be on your feet most of the day, using hand tools and machines to inspect, buff, and prepare tires for retreading.
  • The work is repetitive but methodical, requiring patience and a strong attention to detail.
  • You'll wear protective gear (gloves, safety glasses, steel-toe boots) and follow strict safety procedures.
  • You'll be part of a supportive team that works together to meet daily production goals.

Pay & Benefits:

  • Starting wage: $18.00 per hour.
  • Full Time hours Sundays and holidays off
  • Contract Position for up to 3 months.

Requirements:

  • Mechanical aptitude or experience working with tools or equipment.
  • Ability to use PPE and follow safety procedures.

  • Valid driver's license preferred.
