Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces to uphold high standards of cleanliness.
  • Handle janitorial duties such as trash removal, restocking supplies, and maintaining cleaning equipment for optimal performance.
  • Conduct floor care activities like buffing, polishing, stripping, and waxing to preserve flooring quality and appearance.
  • Assist with custodial tasks related to industrial or commercial cleaning projects, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
  • Support facilities maintenance by reporting repairs needed for fixtures or equipment and assisting with light maintenance tasks such as painting or minor repairs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace by properly storing cleaning supplies and equipment after use.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.

Skills

  • Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, custodial duties or facilities maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing.
  • Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as floor buffers or industrial vacuums safely and effectively.
  • Experience with commercial cleaning environments or industrial cleaning processes is preferred.
  • Skilled in residential painting or minor maintenance tasks that support overall facility upkeep.
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify areas needing special care or repair.
  • Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting heavy objects, and performing repetitive tasks over extended periods. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00-$17.00 per hour
