Janitorial Cleaner

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to maintain cleanliness and safety across our facilities. Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting floors, surfaces, and fixtures
• Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, hallways, offices, and common areas
• Empty trash receptacles and ensure proper disposal of waste materials
• Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper as needed
• Conduct routine inspections of the facility to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards
• Assist with minor maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs or repairing fixtures when necessary
• Follow safety protocols and use cleaning chemicals safely and effectively
• Collaborate with team members to ensure all areas meet cleanliness standards and are well-maintained

Experience

• Prior experience in commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment is advantageous
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks which may involve standing for extended periods, bending, lifting, and moving supplies or equipment

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.44-$19.42 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 44 per week
