About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Operations & Lab Manager with experience in dental or orthodontic environments. This role requires a strong leader who can oversee and coordinate lab operations, administrative functions, and support clinical workflows. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and confident managing people, equipment, schedules, and communication with dentists and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations across the lab, administrative team, and clinical support.

  • Manage, mentor, and coordinate staff across multiple departments.

  • Ensure efficient production, scheduling, and workflow between lab and clinical teams.

  • Act as the primary communication link between dentists, team members, and management.

  • Maintain and manage lab equipment, inventory, and supplies.

  • Oversee administrative tasks including scheduling, workflow coordination, and process management.

  • Implement and maintain quality control standards and operational protocols.

  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce errors, and support revenue growth.

  • Support onboarding, training, and ongoing development of staff.

  • Contribute to strategic planning and help drive operational excellence across the organization.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience in a dental or orthodontic lab, clinic, or similar healthcare environment.

  • Proven experience managing staff and overseeing multi-department operations.

  • Strong understanding of dental terminology, lab processes, and clinical workflow.

  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Strong communication skills with experience liaising directly with dentists.

  • Familiarity with digital workflows, CAD/CAM, or aligner production is an asset.
