As an Operations Manager, Airports, you will play an important leadership role in our ambition to become a top ten global airline, by leading safe and efficient day-of operations. The role will provide the opportunity to work in various areas such as: Station Operations Center, Airside/Ramp/Apron Operations, Baggage Services, Staff Deployment/Planning & In-Terminal Operations. In all areas you will be accountable for both our customers experience and ensuring the safe and efficient execution of our operations by enforcing safety protocols, conducting thorough investigations following incidents, and ensuring consistent adherence to our safety and Standard Operating Procedures "SOPs".

Qualifications:

  • Possess at least a post-secondary diploma or the equivalent operation experience.
  • Possess at least two (2) years in a leadership role or the equivalent operation experience.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire, coach and empower employees.
  • Managerial courage to make difficult decisions to ensure operational integrity, safety, and an On-Time Performance "OTP".
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with team members, customers and other stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal skills (organizational, team oriented & focused).
  • Independent time management skills.
  • Customer service orientation, with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
  • Ability to work in a 24-hour airport operation, including shift work, weekends, and holidays.
  • Possess a valid Class G or Class 5 driver's license in the province of employment.
  • Ability to successfully obtain and maintain a Restricted Area Identity Card "RAIC" and an Airside Vehicle Operator's Permit "AVOP".
  • Ability to successfully obtain and maintain a Restricted Operator Certificate "ROC" (for radiocommunications in Canada) issued by Industry Canada.
  • Exhibit dynamic situational responsiveness, efficiently adapting to unpredictable changes in tasks throughout the day in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities, especially in high-pressure situations.
  • Ability to walk long distances frequently, lift at least 50 pounds, and drive airside vehicles under varied conditions.
  • Ability to adapt to new technology and to share that knowledge.
  • Strong understanding of airport operations.
  • Knowledge of the in-terminal and airside operations, an asset.
  • Experience working with unionized workforces and understanding of collective agreements, an asset.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and Standard Operating Procedures "SOPs", an asset.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with various aviation systems and programs, an asset.
  • Demonstrate punctuality and dependability to support overall team success in a fast-paced environment.

Le rôle vous permettra de toucher à divers secteurs tels que les suivants : le Centre des opérations de l'escale, les opérations liées à l'aire de trafic, les Services bagages, la répartition et la planification du personnel, et l'Exploitation en aérogare. Dans tous les secteurs, vous serez responsable à la fois de l'expérience client et de l'exécution efficace et en toute sécurité de nos activités en appliquant les protocoles de sécurité, en menant des enquêtes approfondies à la suite d'incidents, et en assurant le respect uniforme de nos consignes de sécurité et procédures d'utilisation normalisées (SOP).

Qualifications :

  • Diplôme d'études postsecondaires, au minimum, ou expérience équivalente en matière d'exploitation.
  • Au moins deux années d'expérience dans un rôle de leader ou expérience équivalente en matière d'exploitation.
  • Solides compétences en leadership et en gestion d'équipe, et capacité à inspirer, à encadrer et à autonomiser les employés.
  • Courage managérial pour prendre des décisions difficiles afin d'assurer l'intégrité opérationnelle, la sécurité et la ponctualité.
  • Excellentes compétences en communication orale et écrite afin d'interagir efficacement avec les membres de l'équipe, les clients et d'autres parties prenantes.
  • Excellentes relations interpersonnelles (au sein de l'organisation et de l'équipe).
  • Talent pour la gestion du temps de manière indépendante.
  • Orientation client et engagement à offrir un service de haute qualité.
  • Capacité de travailler par postes dans des installations aéroportuaires ouvertes en permanence (24 heures), notamment la fin de semaine et les jours fériés.
  • Permis de conduire valide de la classe G ou de la classe 5 de la province d'emploi.
  • Capacité à se procurer une carte d'identité de zone réglementée (CIZR) et un permis d'exploitation de véhicules côté piste (AVOP) et à les maintenir.
  • Capacité à se procurer un certificat restreint d'opérateur (CRO) (pour les radiocommunications au Canada) délivré par Industrie Canada et à le maintenir.
  • Réactivité situationnelle dynamique avérée, avec une capacité d'adaptation à des changements de tâches imprévisibles au cours de la journée dans un milieu
  • au rythme rapide.
  • Capacité à résoudre des problèmes et à prendre des décisions, surtout dans des situations très stressantes.
  • Capacité à parcourir fréquemment de longues distances à pied, à soulever au moins 50 livres (environ 23 kg), et à conduire des véhicules côté piste dans
