Role Description
This is a full-time Class 1 Driver role based out of Edmonton, AB. The responsibilities include safely operating commercial trucks for transportation tasks, ensuring timely delivery of goods, performing inspections on vehicles and equipment, and adhering to safety and regulatory standards. The driver will also represent the company professionally, maintain communication with dispatch and clients, and provide excellent customer service while on the road.
Qualifications
- Experience in Truck Driving and valid CDL Class A license
- Strong Communication skills to interact effectively with dispatch and clients
- Proven Customer Service skills for fostering professional relationships with clients
- Ability to inspect and maintain trucks to ensure safety and compliance
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and a focus on safety practices
- Previous experience driving in Western Canada is an asset
- Self-motivated with strong time management skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
