POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The welcoming Villa de l'Estrie residence is seeking a maintenance worker. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the maintenance worker will be responsible for completing minor renovations and ensuring cleanliness throughout the building. This is an occasional night shift position to cover the Christmas holidays. A permanent position may be available. The successful candidate will be required to be available during the day from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Maintenance of common areas
  • all other related tasks
Construction
  • Carry out the maintenance of the premises in accordance to a regular reocurring schedule or as required
  • Make service calls
  • Minor repairs in apartments and common areas (plaster, paint, change lights, various installations, etc.)
  • Organise or perform all other related tasks regarding the maintenance department, as required and as requested by the immediate superior
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Professional training in general building maintenance (an asset)
  • CPR training (asset)
