Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in HVAC systems, refrigeration, and mechanical repairs. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial settings. The HVAC Technician will ensure optimal performance of HVAC systems while adhering to safety standards and regulations.
Duties
- Install HVAC systems including air conditioning units, ductless splits and refrigeration equipment.
- Collaborate with construction teams to assist in HVAC design and integration into new builds.
- Assist Journeyman HVAC technicians in the new installation of residential modular home HVAC systems, including ductless split systems and conventional units.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks and minor repairs independently with accuracy and efficiency.
- Support fabrication and installation of ductwork and HVAC components when required.
- Follow directions from supervisors and Journeymen to ensure compliance with job specifications, safety protocols, and industry standards.
- Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and maintain a professional and positive work environment.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and worksite best practices.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in HVAC/R systems.
- Proficient in refrigeration techniques and refrigeration systems.
- Familiarity with plumbing systems as they relate to HVAC installations.
- Experience in appliance repair and property maintenance is advantageous.
- Experience with sheet metal work and fabrication is a plus.
- Capable of working independently on assigned tasks and under the supervision of a Journeyman.
- Able to follow verbal and written instructions with precision.
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player with good communication skills.
- Competence in welding techniques for equipment repair tasks.
- A valid driver's license is required for travel to job sites.
- Physically capable of lifting heavy equipment, working in confined spaces, and handling various weather conditions.

Pay: $30.00-$50.00 per hour
