As a Master Builder you will report to the Regional Lead. You will work within Walmart stores in your area, building seasonal display items (Patio Furniture, BBQ's, Swings, Lawn Mowers, etc.) and a wide selection of quality Bicycles. You will be our go-to-person to arrive in store, ready to build You will assemble products and ensure the salesfloor is merchandised according to the client requirements. We take Health and Safety seriously; we adhere to all policies to ensure that all quality measures are met or exceeded both for you as an employee, and for the customers who buy our products. As this is a seasonal program, we also have great incentives that encourage builders to come back year after year*What we are looking for:
- You have previous experience using hand and/or power tools such as drills/drivers, wrenches, ratchets, Allen keys, etc., to build or repair a variety of bicycles and seasonal products. (Tools will be supplied by the employer)
- Working knowledge of mechanics/assembly and demonstrated ability to assemble products that are safe and built to last for many years to come
- Comprehension of technical directions to properly assemble product displays such as patio furniture, BBQ's, swings, lawn mowers, snowblowers and more. (Yes, we read the instructions)
- Conduct regular safety inspections of products and may on occasion perform repairs and adjustments to ensure builds are meeting the highest standards
- May on occasion perform repairs or adjustments for customer-owned products
- Thrives while working alone, often unsupervised
- Comfortable using mobile devices and apps to communicate in group chats, submit end of day reports, and conduct safety checklists
Physical Job Requirements:
- Comfortable lifting and moving 30-50 pounds regularly
- Comfortable standing/walking/crouching/kneeling for extensive periods of time
- You MUST have your own vehicle and be willing to travel within a designated region
