Duties

  • Greet customers warmly and assist with their inquiries in person or via phone.
  • Operate the POS system accurately for cash handling, credit card transactions, and returns.
  • Manage cashier responsibilities including processing payments, issuing receipts, and balancing registers at shift end.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and provide technical sales support when needed.
  • Upsell products and services to meet customer needs while ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  • Maintain merchandising standards and ensure the sales floor is organized and clean.
  • Assist customers with product selection, provide information on features, and answer questions about merchandise.
  • Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Support inventory management tasks such as stock replenishment and product placement.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus.
  • Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and basic math skills for transaction accuracy.
  • Ability to perform product demos and explain features effectively to customers.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in merchandising and inventory management.
  • Demonstrated time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods.
  • Professional phone etiquette and strong interpersonal skills to engage with diverse customers.
  • Experience or interest in technology sales or upselling techniques is advantageous.
  • Ability to work well within a team environment while maintaining a positive attitude. This position offers an engaging work environment where excellent customer service skills are valued and developed further through daily interactions with customers and team members.
