Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and professional Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our retail team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service while efficiently handling transactions. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a customer-focused attitude, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual abilities and experience in retail sales or technical sales are considered valuable assets. This position offers an opportunity to develop your sales and customer service skills while contributing to a positive shopping experience.

Duties

  • Greet customers warmly and assist with their inquiries in a professional manner
  • Operate POS systems accurately for cash handling and credit transactions
  • Conduct product demos and upsell items to enhance customer satisfaction and sales
  • Maintain merchandising displays and ensure products are well-organized
  • Provide information about products and services, including technical features when applicable
  • Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers efficiently
  • Handle phone inquiries with excellent phone etiquette
  • Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment as needed
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the checkout area

Experience

  • Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service is preferred
  • Bilingual skills (English and another language) are highly desirable
  • Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and basic math skills is beneficial
  • Strong communication skills, organizational skills, and time management are essential
  • Experience with merchandising, product demos, or technical sales is a plus
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to upsell products and engage customers effectively

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
