Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipper/Receiver to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the flow of goods in and out of our warehouse, ensuring accurate order fulfillment, and maintaining inventory integrity. This role is crucial in supporting our operations and ensuring customer satisfaction through timely and accurate shipping and receiving processes.

Duties

  • Competently operates material handling equipment including but not limited to tow motor, Raymond Reach and pallet truck to load and unload delivery vehicles
  • Verification of all incoming and outgoing documents for accuracy including internally generated production slips and / or International Customs Paperwork
  • Ensure product both shipped and received meet conformance criteria
  • Manage outgoing shipments via various internal systems to ensure 100% on time delivery to all customers
  • Responsible to liaise with various freight carriers as required to meet delivery and or receiving requirements
  • Communicates daily with purchasing / production

Skills

  • Proficiency in order fulfillment processes within a warehouse distribution environment.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of MS Office based software (emphasis on MS EXCEL)
  • Full understanding of WHMIS and health and safety policies
  • Lift truck operators licence
  • Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order fulfillment and inventory tracking.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
