Contrans Maintenance Group, our shop in Blenheim has an immediate opening for licensed 310T and 310J technicians (3 technicians), as well as apprentices (3 apprentices). As a Truck and Trailer Mechanic, you will:

  • Perform scheduled maintenance service, preventative maintenance, and inspections.
  • Work in a safe and effective manner, adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Install, dismantle, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair tractors, vans, and flatbed trailers.
  • Identify and determine parts required for repair.
  • Document all work, parts used, and completed inspection sheets.

What we need from you:

  • Hold a 310T license. Apprentices at level 2 and above are encouraged to apply.
  • Possess a valid driver's license with reliable transportation to work.
  • Demonstrate excellent time management and communication skills.
  • Must own a personal set of tools.
