Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Reporter to join our dynamic news team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for gathering, verifying, and presenting news stories across various platforms. Duties

  • Research and investigate news stories through interviews, public records, and field reporting
  • Write clear, engaging, and accurate articles suitable for publication across print and digital media
  • Proofread and edit content to ensure grammatical correctness, factual accuracy, and adherence to style guidelines
  • Copy edit articles for clarity, coherence, and consistency before publication
  • Verify facts and sources to maintain journalistic integrity
  • Cover breaking news events promptly and efficiently
  • Collaborate with editors and other team members to develop story ideas and angles
  • Maintain a strong understanding of current events, community issues, and relevant topics
  • Engage with the audience through social media platforms to promote stories and gather feedback

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $43,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
