Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced line technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for constructing, maintaining, and repairing overhead and underground electrical power systems.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you will be responsible for technical operations, mentoring junior personnel, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities
  • Erect and maintain poles, towers, and guy wires
  • Install, maintain, and repair power lines, insulators, conductors, transformers, switches, and associated equipment
  • Perform advanced system switching tasks, including reclosers and loop feeds
  • Execute live line work procedures and teach basic live line procedures to apprentices
Requirements
  • Journeyperson Powerline Technician (PLT) certification
  • 6 years of experience in the utility or electrical construction sector with 2 years distribution experience
  • Valid Class DZ driver's license
  • Proven experience leading crews and training apprentices
