About the Role:

The ideal candidate can solve production scheduling problems, engage, and support production employees, seek to improve processes, and help fulfill company expectations. The Production Scheduler creates and maintains the detailed schedules of the manufacturing work centers, driving efficiency while ensuring that customer expectations are met or improved upon. By developing effective schedules, candidates can expect to play a major role in improving production flow, supporting equipment efficiencies, coordinating staffing needs, and helping the company reach its goals in operational excellence. 

Compensation:

The typical compensation range for this position is $55,000 - $65,000/ year.

Responsibilities:

  • Work in collaboration with the VP of Operations, Operation Manager, Supervisors and the Corrugate Operations Team to coordinate the activities of production, ensuring adherence to the schedule and customer delivery commitments.
  • Create and maintain daily and weekly production schedules.
  • Examine the production schedules to ensure they are attainable and work with the Corrugate Operations Team to determine team requirements for weekly production.
  • Support the operations team in continuous improvement initiatives that will result in increased visibility, capacity, and capability.
  • Encourage teamwork and empowerment of production employees and team leaders.
  • Actively participate in all projects related to process improvements and the implementation of new systems.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a true team environment.
  • Post-secondary education degree or diploma.
  • Strength in decision-making with the ability to multi-task and prioritize under pressure.
  • Superior organizational and time management skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong technical aptitude.
