Overview

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team, responsible for delivering high-quality painting services across various projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential, commercial, and industrial painting, demonstrating proficiency with both hand and power tools. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence in every aspect of the job.

Duties

  • Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and patching as necessary.
  • Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
  • Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to determine the appropriate materials and techniques needed for each job.
  • Ensure all work is completed to high standards of quality and safety.
  • Manage time effectively to meet project deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with team members on larger projects to ensure cohesive results.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working order, performing minor repairs when necessary.
  • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in construction painting, residential painting, commercial painting, or industrial painting.
  • Proficiency with power tools and hand tools used in the painting process.
  • Strong understanding of drywall installation and repair techniques.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ability to read and understand schematics related to painting projects.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Good physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor for extended periods.
  • Must have reliable vehicle for transportation.
