Expected Salary: $88,641 to $110,801
To determine final salary, Babcock considers a variety of factors including the successful Candidate's skills and experience and internal equity. The final base salary offer is at the Company's sole discretion and presented as part of a competitive total compensation package.

In this role, you will:
- Work with Sustainment Program Managers to plan and execute delivery of Platform and Combat system engineering, and ILS (Integrated Logistic Support) activities in accordance with the Victoria In-Service Support Contract (VISSC) Performance Work Statement.
- Support delivery of risk-based sustainment activities in support of Director General, Maritime Equipment Program Management (DGMEPM), Submarines (SM) Platform and Combat Systems Section Heads to enable effective management of critical equipment and system capabilities.
- Provide leadership and direction to Babcock Sustainment IPTs (Integrated Project Teams) to ensure execution of Babcock's engineering support function delivers to a standard that meets or exceeds the requirements of VISSC and is aligned with DGMEPM(SM) program priorities.
- Provide support to business development activities as required to support achieving Marine strategic objectives.
- Support effective management of resources allocated to sustainment projects in our matrix organisation, influencing and leading team members.
- Determine appropriate governance arrangements including identification and monitoring of risks, planning, and implementing responses to these.
- Build consensus among cross-functional team members and balance multiple, concurrent priorities.
- Collaborate with multi-discipline stakeholders across Engineering, Commercial, Finance and Supply Chain to resolve a range of complex issues and identify external dependencies.
- Proficiently deliver detailed information concisely and appropriately present to various audiences and actively participate within Customer chaired discussions.
- Work independently, demonstrate initiative, and exercise superior judgement in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with government and non-government stakeholders, managing geographically dispersed relationships.
The ideal candidate brings:
- You have a recognized University Degree or College diploma in Engineering, Project Management or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- You have 8 plus years' experience in successfully managing projects with multiple stakeholders, preferably within the Naval or Marine sector
- You have a working knowledge of DGMEPM (SM) Sustainment Operations
- You are a positive, resilient, and focused individual
- You have excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- You are eligible for a Canadian Secret Security and ITAR Clearance
- SM experience would be beneficial
