We're Hiring: Maintenance Technician – Hartung Glass Canada (Burnaby, BC)

Are you a hands-on problem solver who takes pride in keeping machines running smoothly?

Hartung Glass Canada is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team at our Burnaby facility.

In this role, you'll be responsible for the upkeep, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of machinery, equipment, and facilities to ensure continuous, safe, and efficient production operations.

What You'll Do:

  • Perform timely maintenance and repairs on production equipment
  • Schedule and complete preventive maintenance tasks
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Support facility maintenance (lighting, HVAC, plumbing, etc.)
  • Document maintenance activities and parts usage
  • Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and production support calls
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment

What You Bring:

  • High school diploma or GED (technical or trade school certification preferred)
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in maintenance or industrial equipment repair
  • Experience with electrical systems is an asset
  • Strong mechanical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manuals
  • Comfortable working independently and in physically active environments (lifting up to 50 lbs)
