Richelieu Hardware is looking for a Warehouse material handler for our Reliable Fasteners division, in Etobicoke, ON.

The main responsibilities of the position are to:

  • Efficiently pick customer orders for shipment
  • Ensuring that the correct number and type of product is loaded and shipped
  • Carry or transport orders to shipping locations
  • Repack and weigh any orders that require such handling when necessary
  • Report quantity and quality variances
  • Use barcode scanning equipment to maintain computerized stock inventory
  • Wrap and secure loads prior to shipment
  • Restock inventory rooms with required product as required
  • Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area
  • Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety
  • Perform duties outside of their normal responsibilities from time to time, as needed

Requirements :

  • High school diploma
  • Experience in warehouse or material handling
  • Ability to lift loads.
  • Ability to operate equipment (such as a forklift) an asset
  • Knowledge of safety standards
