Job Title: Volunteer Coordinator – Carefree Service

Location: Prince George, British Columbia

Position Type: Part-Time Contract (est. 8-10 weeks)

Hours of work: Flexible

Are you passionate about community engagement, accessibility, and inclusion? We're

seeking a self-starting, experienced Volunteer Coordinator to launch and develop a new

volunteer support program for the Carefree Society's accessible tour initiative.

Role Overview:

The Volunteer Coordinator will recruit, train, and manage a team of 10+ volunteers who

will assist with tours and outreach activities, and provide support to ensure the success

of our accessible tours and events.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a volunteer program

Recruit, train, and onboard volunteers

Support volunteers in their roles as tour assistants and guides

Ensure tours run smoothly and are accessible to all participants

Participate in fundraising planning and activities

Ideal Candidate:

Strong background in community work, volunteer coordination, and accessibility and

inclusion

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently

Passion for creating inclusive experiences for all
