We are seeking a dedicated Articling Student to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist lawyer in various legal tasks and provide administrative support in a fast-paced legal environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the lawyer in preparing legal documents such as briefs, pleadings, appeals, contracts, and agreements

  • Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases

  • Maintain and organize physical and electronic files

  • Perform clerical duties including data entry, proofreading, and document management

  • Communicate with clients and handle calls with proper phone etiquette

  • Draft correspondence and other legal documents as needed

Requirements:

  • JD or LLB degree obtained from accredited law school in a common law jurisdiction or equivalent before commencement of articling/clerkship;

  • Language: English and Mandarin

  • Able to drive

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively
