Main Responsibilities
  • Perform an analyses of the client's project
  • Document the technical data
  • Analyse the estimate and the sequence of operations
  • Prepare the quote according to the specifications and estimate
  • Act as a technical resource for customers
  • Design the electrical diagram with AutoCAD
  • Generate the bill of materials in accordance with CSA norms
  • Prepare all technical documentation for customers
  • Perform technical research as needed
  • Collaborate in the retrofitting of certain interfaces to respond to clients' needs
  • Collaborate in mechanical and functional testing as well as quality control processes
  • Provide support on the worksite if necessary
  • Participate in systems programming
  • Stay up to date with knowledge regarding new products and technologies
  • Participate in training (internal/suppliers), conferences and trade shows
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or College Diploma in Instrumentation and Controls
  • 5 years of experience in an industrial environment
  • Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD
  • Good knowledge of variable speed drives and programmable controllers an asset
  • Good knowledge of French and English
