We are creating a beginner-friendly online course that teaches people how to rap, write lyrics, and understand basic hip-hop culture. We already have the instructor who will teach and appear on camera.

We are looking for a skilled creative professional to design the course structure, film the lessons, and handle all editing and post-production to create a clean, high-quality online course.

Role Overview

You will NOT be teaching or appearing on camera.

Your role is to build the entire course from behind the scenes, including:

  • Structuring the modules
  • Planning the lesson flow
  • Recording the instructor on camera
  • Editing all lesson videos
  • Adding visuals/slides/graphics
  • Preparing the final course for upload (Teachable/Thinkific/etc.)

This is a full course creation + video production role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a clear 4–6 module course outline
  • Create lesson plans and structure each topic logically
  • Film the instructor (in-studio or on-location)
  • Capture clean audio + video
  • Edit all footage into finalized lesson videos
  • Add text overlays, examples, slides, and simple animations
  • Organize and prepare all materials for an online course platform
  • Ensure branding and visuals are consistent and professional

We need someone who can take a simple concept — a course on how to rap — and turn it into a polished online learning product.

You should be creative, organized, and capable of handling both course design and video production. You will work with our instructor to map out each module, plan the filming, and produce smooth, engaging video lessons.

Requirements

  • Experience designing online courses or educational content
  • Strong video production and editing skills
  • Ability to plan lessons and structure a course
  • Comfortable directing an instructor on camera
  • Able to work in Toronto for filming days
  • Strong understanding of clean, modern aesthetics
  • Organized, reliable, and able to meet deadlines

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Thinkific, Teachable, Kajabi, or online course platforms
  • Basic knowledge of music culture (not required, but helpful)
  • Graphic design or motion graphics skills
