Reporting to the Supervisor or designate, the Laboratory Combined Technologist receives and completes requisitions, forms and reports; monitors patients; performs general imaging procedures, as qualified, including archiving acquired images; carries out routine Laboratory and ECG testing, as qualified; utilizes computerized patient data systems; and prepares and monitors supplies and equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS:Education, Training And ExperienceGraduation from a recognized combined Laboratory/ Medical Radiography Technician Program; One (1) year recent related experience; or An equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Skills And Abilities- Meet deadlines.
- Determine and deal with emergent situations.
- Organize, prioritize and coordinate workload.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, staff and other health care providers.
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Foster good public relations.
- Work independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team.
- Problem solve.
- Operate related equipment, including computerized systems.
- Keyboard at 30 wpm.
- Physically and emotionally perform the duties of the position.
