IRONWORKERS

You will be an integral part of the Island Installation Team reporting to the Island Foremen on the site.

Responsibilities:

  • Erect steel for structural steel buildings and structural steel
  • Install of Misc. Metals
  • Bolt up and impacting
  • Study blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the lay out of work
  • Position steel units, align holes, and insert temporary bolts while checking alignments and joining steel parts
  • Rigging and setting of building modules
  • Install scaffolding, construction cranes, derricks, and other hoisting equipment

Requirements:

  • Registered apprentice as an Iron Worker and/or willing to register
  • Fall Protection and Elevated Work Platform are a requirement
  • WHMIS and CSTS
  • All Field Employees should have Basic Iron Worker Tools
  • Valid driver's license
  • Eager to work
  • Benefits after the hourly threshold is met
