Locksmith & Garage Door Technician – Doors & Windows Services

Location: Sudbury, ON – Up to 150 km radius

Job Description:

We are hiring a Locksmith & Garage Door Technician to install, repair, and service locks, garage doors, entry doors, windows, and access control systems. The role includes diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, providing security solutions, and delivering high-quality service to both residential and commercial clients.

Full 3-week training is provided for the right candidate.

This position involves in-person client visits, so strong communication and sales abilities are important.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, repair, and replace locks, deadbolts, and security hardware.
  • Service and install garage doors, openers, and door tracks.
  • Repair or replace residential and commercial doors and windows.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and structural issues.
  • Work with access control and keyless entry systems.
  • Travel to customer locations within Sudbury, ON and surrounding areas (up to 150 km).

Requirements:

Handyman-oriented with strong mechanical aptitude.

Experience in locksmithing, garage doors, or door/window repair is an asset (not required—training provided).

Must have a valid driver's license and own a car.

Must own basic hand tools and power tools.

Legal status in Canada and valid provincial or private health insurance.

Available Monday to Friday (minimum 8 hours per day).

Strong problem-solving, technical, and customer-service skills.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Minimum monthly pay: $2,400, with potential to earn more based on sales and completed jobs.
  • Full-time position, Monday to Friday.
  • Work within Sudbury, ON and up to a 150 km radius.
  • Full 3-week training program.

  • Greater Sudbury, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
