Welder

PRODUCTION LINE WELDER

Duties

• Cut aluminum and/or steel materials as required, or utilize pre-cut materials for loading into fixtures.
• Weld trailer frames and assemblies using cut sheets, production drawings and/or engineering drawings.
• Weld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions.
• Assess welded surfaces & structures for quality and to identify errors.
• Maintain task & process efficiencies per production scheduling guidelines.
• Monitor machinery for appropriate usage and temperature, and maintain welding equipment. Advise supervisor of any performance or safety issues with area or equipment.
• Follow safety regulations such as wearing heat-resistant gloves, protective masks, and safety shoes.
• Assist with trailer assembly as required.
• Identify and advise supervisor of any potential task or process improvements
• Clean up work area regularly.

Requirements

• Previous welding training or experience is required.
• Possibility of shift work.

Pay: $20.00-$29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
