Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mississauga, ON, for a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) Automation Lead. The SDET Automation Lead will design, develop, and execute automation frameworks to ensure the quality of software applications. Responsibilities include collaborating with development teams to identify test requirements, creating scalable automation scripts, and analyzing test results to address software issues. The role involves driving quality assurance best practices and ensuring robust test coverage, along with mentoring junior engineers.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Software Development, Back-End Web Development, and Programming
  • Strong command of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles
  • Solid foundation in Computer Science concepts
  • Experience with automation frameworks and tools is highly desirable
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor team members
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is required
  • Experience in Agile or DevOps environments is a plus
