Larga provides safe and welcoming accommodations for guests from the Northwest Territories and Nunavut who are in Edmonton for medical care. We are proud to offer culturally respectful support to those far from home during vulnerable times.We're looking for a compassionate, reliable Hospitality Services Attendant to join our Hospitality Services team. This role is essential to providing a clean, safe, and supportive environment for our guests.
What You'll Do
- Thoroughly clean and maintain guest rooms, washrooms, common areas, kitchens, stairwells, and offices
- Wash, fold, and organize laundry; keep laundry rooms and supply closets clean and stocked
- Restock toiletries and baby supplies; wipe down high-touch and safety equipment weekly
- Maintain outdoor areas by sweeping, shoveling, and emptying ashtrays
- Change linens weekly (or more often) for long-term guests
- Assist guests respectfully with questions or directions
- Log shift notes and complete timesheets accurately
- Report damages, safety hazards, or faulty equipment to your supervisor
- Follow all safety and company policies; attend safety and team meetings
- Work cooperatively with team members to support a positive guest experience

What We're Looking For
- Friendly, trustworthy, and team-oriented
- Able to read, write, and speak English fluently
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, standing, walking, and performing repetitive cleaning tasks for extended periods
- Willing and able to work in a fast-paced, emotionally sensitive environment
- Must pass an annual medical assessment and provide a clear Vulnerable Sector Check
- Comfortable working around cleaning chemicals and in laundry environments
- WHMIS, CPR/First Aid, and Non-Crisis Intervention training (or willingness to complete)
