Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and professional Owner-Operator Delivery Driver to join our team. This role involves transporting goods efficiently and safely to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent customer service.

5 to 7 Days of work available.

Pickup: Rue Clément, Montreal.

Delivery Area: Montreal & the Surrounding area.

Pay Per Delivered pkg: $1.50 to $1.60.

Payout: Bi-weekly- Bank Transfer (No-Tax Deducted), first pay takes time.

Expected deliveries: 80 to 160 per route (depending on the volume and performance).

Vehicle Requirement: Sedan or SUV.

Duties

  • Safely operate delivery trucks and commercial vehicles to transport goods to designated locations
  • Load and unload freight using equipment such as forklifts when necessary
  • Ensure accurate documentation of deliveries and pickups
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to maintain safety standards
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise
  • Assist with the operation of heavy equipment or forklifts as needed for loading or unloading cargo
  • Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting if required to maintain vehicle functionality
  • Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during deliveries

Experience

  • Proven experience in commercial driving, freight transportation, or delivery services
  • Knowledge of heavy equipment operation, including forklifts, is a plus
  • Familiarity with automotive repair or troubleshooting is advantageous
  • Valid driver's license appropriate for commercial vehicle operation
  • Prior experience handling freight or working with heavy equipment is preferred
  • Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently in various environments
