The Role

Join our Ottawa team as a Senior Consultant and help public sector organizations modernize with cutting-edge technology. Work closely with leaders to design and deliver digital, data and AI solutions, manage projects from start to finish and build strong client relationships. Lead workshops, develop transformation plans and present actionable IT and digital strategies to executive teams for lasting impact.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Take charge of comprehensive digital, data and AI strategy assessments, guiding transformation initiatives from inception to completion.
  • Oversee project execution, ensuring deliverables meet quality standards, remain on schedule and stay within budget.
  • Cultivate and strengthen client relationships, proactively seeking opportunities for additional collaboration and growth.
  • Contribute to or lead the creation and presentation of proposals and pitches for new business.
  • Provide expert advice to senior-level clients on identifying opportunities, designing target operating models and mapping out implementation strategies.
  • Organize and steer strategic discovery workshops, integrating insights from business, technology and data domains.
  • Develop practical and effective transformation roadmaps, business cases and detailed plans for implementation.
  • Evaluate current processes, technology and data capabilities, offering realistic and actionable recommendations for improvement.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to executive audiences and facilitate interactive workshops with diverse teams.
  • Serve as a thought leader both within the firm and with clients, introducing fresh perspectives, methodologies and innovative ideas.
  • Guide and support junior team members, encouraging a culture focused on ongoing development and high standards.

What you bring to the Table:

  • 5+ years in management consulting or technology advisory roles with direct client engagement.
  • Proven track record in driving or supporting end-to-end transformation initiatives involving digital, data or AI technologies.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of digital strategies, analytics and business applications of AI.
  • Expertise in analyzing business processes and engaging with stakeholders from both technical and non-technical backgrounds.
  • Skilled in crafting transformation roadmaps, developing business cases, evaluating solution options and designing operating models.
  • Adept at navigating fast-moving and uncertain environments that are shaped by client needs.
  • Well-versed in new technologies, industry developments and digital business practices.
  • Understanding and practical experience with methodologies such as Design Thinking, Agile, TOGAF and Lean Six Sigma.
  • Relevant certifications in data, cloud computing, AI/ML or comparable technical areas.
  • Residing in the Ottawa-Gatineau area and able to obtain or already holding Government of Canada Reliability or Secret clearance.
  • Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Engineering Management, or an MBA.
  • Experience working with enterprise platforms including SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, Workday, Snowflake, AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
