We are expanding our team and are welcoming Registered Veterinary Technicians who want to expand their skills, grow professionally, and be part of an amazing collaborative team. If you thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and want to make a real difference in the lives of pets and their families, we want to hear from you As a specialized Registered Veterinary Technician, you will perform the following key responsibilities:

  • Provide advanced care for 7 to 10 critically ill and injured patients on average per shift
  • Assist with emergency resuscitation, trauma stabilization and critical care management
  • Prepare patients for anesthesia and surgical procedures, monitoring vitals throughout
  • Assist or perform diagnostic testing, lab work and imaging
  • Maintain and prepare medical equipment, medications and supplies
  • Collaborate closely with a skilled team of specialists and technicians to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in ongoing professional development
  • Contribute to mentoring and training junior team members

Qualifications:

  • Registered Veterinary Technician credential
  • Open to new graduates; experience in emergency and specialty services is an asset
  • Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to client care
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary medical team
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of patient care
