About Three Brother Academy

Three Brother Academy is a private pod-style school combining academics with structured athletic development. Our baseball program offers daily technical skill work, performance-focused training, and character-building activities designed to help young athletes grow both on and off the field.

We are looking for a reliable, development-focused Baseball Coach to lead one daily training session, support athletic development, and foster a positive and disciplined training environment.

Position Overview

The Baseball Coach will oversee:

• Daily skill-development sessions
• Age-appropriate athletic conditioning
• Weekly structured training themes and progression plans
• Safety, equipment readiness, and facility setup
• Parent updates and communication

Ideal for someone passionate about youth development who excels in teaching fundamentals, structure, and leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Daily On-Field Coaching

• Lead a daily baseball training session focused on fundamentals: throwing, catching, hitting, fielding, footwork, base running, game awareness.
• Implement weekly development themes with clear goals and progressions.
• Maintain a safe, high-energy, and disciplined training environment.
• Provide individualized instruction and feedback to students.

Athletic Conditioning

• Run basic conditioning and coordination drills tailored to age and ability.
• Teach proper warm-ups, stretching routines, and movement patterns.
• Reinforce athletic habits that support baseball development.

Facility Safety & Readiness

• Ensure the training space and equipment are set up and safe for use.
• Support light facility or field maintenance tasks as needed.
• Flag any concerns related to safety or equipment.

Communication & Parent Reporting

• Provide short, consistent updates to parents and staff on student progress.
• Communicate highlights, concerns, or development needs promptly.
• Participate in weekly planning meetings to align training goals.

Qualifications

• Experience coaching youth baseball (required).
• Strong understanding of baseball fundamentals and skill progression.
• Ability to lead structured groups with clarity and enthusiasm.
• Excellent communication skills, especially with parents and young athletes.
• Vulnerable Sector Check (required or willingness to obtain).
• NCCP or baseball certification is an asset but not required.
