We are committed to delivering exceptional results and superior customer satisfaction. We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Landscape Foreman to join our team.
Job Overview: As a Landscape Foreman at LLS Contracting, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of landscape installation projects. You will supervise a team of landscape technicians and ensure that all tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have experience installing artificial turf, paving stone edges, and a strong understanding of landscape construction techniques. Spanish-speaking ability and a Class 5 driver's license are considered a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a crew of landscape installers during daily operations.
- Manage and coordinate landscape projects, ensuring timely and efficient completion.
- Install artificial turf, paving stone edges, and other landscape features with precision and attention to detail.
- Ensure proper site preparation, including excavation, grading, and leveling.
- Maintain a high level of safety on-site, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and protocols.
- Provide clear communication with clients, addressing any concerns or changes during the project.
- Train and mentor crew members, providing guidance on landscape techniques and safety procedures.
- Maintain inventory of materials, tools, and equipment needed for each project.
- Conduct site assessments and prepare work plans for the team.
- Ensure the quality of work meets company standards and customer expectations.
- Manage job site logistics and ensure projects stay within budget and on schedule.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in landscape installation, with a focus on artificial turf and paving stone edging.
- Proven experience in supervising a landscape crew and managing projects.
- Knowledge of landscape construction techniques, materials, and tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically under pressure.
- Ability to work efficiently and lead a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Spanish-speaking ability is a bonus, but not required.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality work.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs).
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Ability to stand, kneel, and bend for extended periods.
