Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise yard staff to maintain productivity and customer service.

• Assist customers and ensure a safe, organized yard environment.

• Manage receiving, unloading, and delivery schedules.

• Oversee equipment use and maintenance (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks, saws).

• Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or surpluses.

• Enforce safety and fire regulations.

• Optimize labor hours and minimize waste.

• Communicate effectively with customers, team members, and management.

• Support store goals by suggesting improvements and following company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• 1–2 years of retail or yard experience preferred.

• Flexible availability including weekends and holidays.

• Strong leadership, communication, and basic math skills.

• Ability to read and interpret written and numerical information.|

Physical Requirements

• Lift and move materials up to 50 lbs.

• Work outdoors in various weather conditions.

• Operate yard equipment and tools safely.

• Perform physical tasks such as climbing, kneeling, and balancing.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay: $20.00–$23.00/hour
