The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong creative, technical, and organizational abilities to support artwork, marketing, and presentation needs. Must possess a deep understanding of visual design principles, brand consistency, and product storytelling, with the ability to translate products into compelling digital assets and sales materials. Attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work efficiently under deadlines are essential. The candidate must be comfortable collaborating with sales, marketing, product development, and external vendors, while managing multiple projects simultaneously. Strong communication skills—both written and verbal—are required, along with the ability to produce professional, customer-facing documents and presentations. Overall, the candidate must be adaptable, resourceful, and capable of maintaining high-quality creative output across all digital platforms, print materials, and internal business needs.
Software Qualifications
Adobe Photoshop
- Must be able to professionally edit, retouch, and manipulate carpet and rug photography.
- Capable of creating realistic room scenes using rugs and product assets.
- Able to design and export various image formats for web, print, and marketing use.
Adobe Acrobat
- Must know how to create, edit, combine, and manipulate PDF documents.
- Able to prepare files for printing, sharing, and internal review.
- Familiar with optimizing PDF size and ensuring proper formatting.
Microsoft PowerPoint
- Must be able to create visually appealing and well-structured sales presentations.
- Strong understanding of layout, typography, and visual storytelling.
Shopify
- Knowledgeable in updating product pages, images, descriptions, and pricing.
- Able to maintain site organization, collections, and homepage content.
- Comfortable troubleshooting basic theme or layout adjustments.
Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficient in Excel (data entry, organization, basic formulas), Word (document formatting), and Outlook (email communication).
- Must understand how to compose and send clear, professional emails.
Social Media Platforms (Facebook & Instagram)
- Must be able to maintain and update company social media accounts.
- Able to create and schedule posts, stories, and promotional content.
- Must understand basic engagement strategies, including responding to comments/messages and monitoring account activity.
- Familiar with optimizing images, captions, and hashtags to align with brand standards.
Creative Portfolio Requirement
- If selected for an interview, the candidate must provide a portfolio highlighting their creative capabilities.
