We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Early Child Care Instructor to join our academic team.

Position Overview:

The Early Child Care Instructor will be responsible for delivering classroom instruction for the Early Childhood Education Assistant / Early Childhood Support Worker Program. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in child care settings and a strong ability to engage, guide, and mentor adult learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and interactive lectures based on the approved curriculum
  • Prepare lesson plans, assignments, quizzes, and assessments
  • Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback
  • Maintain accurate student attendance and academic records
  • Support students with learning challenges and career guidance
  • Ensure compliance with Ontario childcare standards and college policies

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or a related field
  • ECE Registration (RECE) preferred
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience working in a licensed childcare setting
  • Previous teaching or training experience is an asset
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of Ontario childcare regulations and practices
  • Ability to teach adult learners in a classroom environment

  • Weekend and/or Evening classes
