Reports to: Logistics Manager/Production Supervisor
Key Responsibilities:- Parts and Material Transportation:
- Transport automotive parts, tools, and materials between production areas and storage areas.
- Ensure timely and accurate deliveries to support production schedules and minimize downtime.
- Material Handling and Equipment Use:
- Load and unload materials onto vehicles, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Inventory and Documentation:
- Verify part counts, labels, and quality during pick-up and delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of parts and materials movement in tracking systems.
- Communication and Coordination:
- Collaborate with production teams, warehouse staff, and supervisors to prioritize tasks.
- Respond to urgent requests for parts and materials delivery as required.
- Support Production Goals:
- Assist with organizing and maintaining storage areas to ensure easy access to materials.
- Provide general support to production and logistics teams as needed, including overtime shifts.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- License: Minimum of a G2 Driver's License (valid in Ontario).
- Driving Record: Clean driver's abstract with no major infractions.
- Background Check: Clean criminal background check.
- Work Authorization: Legally authorized to work in Canada.
- Availability: Minimum of 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with overtime as needed.
- Dependable: Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Safety-Oriented: Committed to following safety protocols and regulations.
- Team Player: Effective communication and collaboration skills to work well in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-Focused: Ensures accuracy in tracking, documentation, and quality assurance.
- Physical Demands: Frequent walking, standing, lifting, and carrying.
- Conditions: Exposure to indoor and outdoor environments with varying noise levels and temperatures.
