Job Overview

Village Medical Clinic is a busy office that focuses on quality patient care and confidentiality. We nurture a team oriented, caring environment, and value positive family style attitudes towards each other. We are currently looking for a detailed-oriented individual who enjoys people and a fast-paced work day with multiple tasks to do. Someone who would appreciate the opportunity to learn and grow in the job. Our current opening is for 3-4 days per week which need to be flexible to the needs of the clinic.

Duties

Main tasks would include answering phones, greeting patients, assisting with their requests in an efficient manner, booking appointments, managing the schedule, dealing with follow up requests. Other duties would include processing referrals, sorting out EMR issues, processing medical record requests, and various administration tasks. This individual will also be trained to escort patients into examination rooms and prepare patient for doctor visit and to assist doctor as required.

Experience

Strong computer skills are required, i.e., working with multiple windows, scanning items, email, internet searching, Microsoft word, and working with electronic medical records. Strong phone skills are also required, and a strong baseline of medical knowledge or a MOA certificate is preferred.
