Insight is currently seeking Nuclear Medicine Technologists to join our dynamic and expanding team. This is a full-time position that will rotate between 5 designated clinics in the Edmonton and immediate area, with a schedule of evenings and weekends only.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform quality control on hot lab equipment, gamma cameras, and radiopharmaceuticals, including manufacturing, QC, and shipping from the Insight Radiopharmacy.
- Manage daily isotope and supply orders for the department.
- Prepare and administer patient doses, including drawing, recording, injecting, and setting up IVs and ECG leads.
- Conduct patient interviews, record histories, and supervise recovery following cardiac stress testing.
- Perform and assist in various Nuclear Medicine scans and cardiac stress procedures (e.g., MIBIs).
- Complete required documentation, organize previous studies, order accompanying X-rays, and maintain general housekeeping.
Skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of diagnostic Nuclear Medicine procedures and practices.
- Must have complete knowledge of the images required for each exam by the Radiologists.
- Knowledge of technical parameters for any examination requested.
- Knowledge of exam storage and retrieval systems.
- Clinical competency in medical nuclear medicine.
- Committed to excellence in patient care, quality control and adherence to diagnostic imaging standards.
Qualifications
- CAMRT/ACMDTT designation in good standing.
- Transportation of Dangerous Goods Certification.
- Current CPR certification.
