What You'll Be Doing 

  • Oversee and operate pouching machines, LW, Unifiller, Spice equipment, Urschel and BLixer, ensuring equipment is calibrated and running to schedule.

  • Perform calibration, minor troubleshooting and minor fixing of machining equipment to maintain uptime and throughput.

  • Execute and verify Lock Out and Tag Out procedures whenever required.

  • Train and support associates on machine setup, safe operation and accuracy expectations.

  • Monitor performance for missing ingredients, ingredient quality, rejects

  • Maintain required record keeping as requested by Supervisor and Manager and conduct error checks with follow up.

  • Maintain overall organization of the department throughout the day.

  • Follow up on corrective actions, participate in incident investigations.

  • Motivate / drive people to achieve full schedule and accuracy targets consistently week after week.

What We Are Looking For

This Machining Lead brings strong hands-on equipment knowledge, understands calibration and basic troubleshooting, and can coordinate people to deliver the machining schedule accurately and on time. The role requires someone who balances technical confidence with practical labour planning to support in-full fulfillment to the Order Picking and Inventory teams.

  • Working knowledge of pouching machines, LW, Unifiller, Spice, Urschel and Blixer

  • Experience with equipment calibration and minor fixing

  • Understanding of Lock Out and Tag Out procedures

  • Ability to train and coach associates on machine setup and safe operation

  • Monitoring KPI performance (uptime, rejects, seconds per SBU)

  • Cross-functional communication with Inventory, Maintenance and Food Safety
