Overview

We are seeking skilled and enthusiastic Servers/Bartenders to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. Your ability to multitask and maintain a friendly demeanor will be essential to your success in this role. The candidate will be expected to close 1-2 nights a week. This is a part time position.

Responsibilities

  • Serve tables and make your own drinks on most shifts.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including equipment and supplies.
  • Process transactions accurately using the POS system, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
  • Engage with customers to provide excellent service, taking orders and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and handling regulations while serving food items when applicable.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service and ensure timely delivery of orders.
  • Uphold high standards of hospitality, creating a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons.
  • Follow house policies to the letter and monitor correspondence from management.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years serving in a full service restaurant (pub service preferred).
  • At least 6 months of bartending experience, including cocktails. Ability to memorize and follow house recipes accurately is essential.
  • Proficiency in using POS systems (experience with Lightspeed is preferred).
  • Strong time management skills to handle busy shifts efficiently.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
  • Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling regulations is essential.
