Department NameECG Technician - VH
Reporting to the Manager - Cardiac Non-Invasive & Outpatient Services, the individual is required to perform adult and paediatric electrocardiogram (ECG). The department offers a wide range of diagnostic Cardiology procedures for both inpatient and outpatient populations.
Regular Part-Time
Hours of work: 22.5 hours per week
Rate of pay: $32.59 per hour - $37.26 per hour
Qualifications- Successful completion of a two (2) year diploma program in Cardiology Technology
- Registered Technologist with Ontario Society of Cardiology Technologist (OSCT) or equivalent
- Minimum one (1) year of previous related experience
- Demonstrated computer proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Internet Explorer, GroupWise and Cardiac Information Databases
- Ability to function independently and as a member of an interdisciplinary team
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated flexibility, adaptability and ability to manage change in a dynamic environment
- Physically fit and able to perform duties required in this fast-paced position
- Demonstrated practice and commitment to the principles of patient and family centered care
- Demonstrated practice and commitment to patient and staff safety at LHSC
- Demonstrated practice and commitment to LHSC's vision, purpose and values
- Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis
