  • Prepare, analyze and present monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and reports.
  • Complete the annual budget process.
  • Manage trust and general bank accounts, lines of credit, corporate credit cards, and required bank reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with BC Law Society rules and reporting requirements.
  • Payroll administration.
  • Manage trust accounts and bank accounts.
  • Complete adhoc projects as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education in accounting, bookkeeping, or related field.
  • Knowledge of GAAP, CRA requirements, and BC Law Society accounting rules and standards;
  • Excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and ability to manage confidential information;
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A strong sense of urgency and focus on internal customer service.
  • Solid business acumen and an interest in all business operations.
  • Excellent computer skills.

This is currently an in office role with a four day work week, however other arrangements would be considered for the right candidate. The starting salary for this opportunity is $32 - $36 per hour.
