Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in residential or commercial settings, ensuring a welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong commitment to quality service and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Duties

  • Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas/units, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
  • Manage laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and personal items.
  • Execute floor care tasks such as sweeping, waxing, and carpet cleaning to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or needs to management.
  • Follow established protocols for sanitation and safety to ensure a healthy environment.
  • Assist with any additional custodial or janitorial tasks as required by management.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in housekeeping or related fields such as janitorial services or hotel housekeeping is preferred.
  • Strong skills in residential cleaning techniques, floor care, carpet cleaning, and sanitation practices.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients and guests.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
  • Previous experience in housekeeping management is a plus but not required.
