Gas Station Attendant/Sales Associate/Cashier

Our Sales Associate/Gas station attendant is responsible for processing transitions and helping our customers to have a positive experience during their visit. In addition, the team member is responsible for maintaining an organized work environment and replenish inventory as needed.

Job Duties

  • Provide exceptional customer service and proactively build and maintain good customer relationships
  • Process customer transactions for both fuel and convenience store goods
  • Replenish inventory on the sales floor as needed
  • Follow the Shift Job responsibilities
  • Maintaining cleanliness of store and forecourt
  • Report to management inventory status and customer suggestions during their shift

Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Previous retail customer service/sales/cashier experience would be an asset
  • Proficient mathematical and computer skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Customer service oriented while working in a busy environment
  • Team oriented personality and good communication skills

Work Conditions

  • Gas station/retail store setting
  • Position involves standing when customers are present, but able to rest (seat provided) when no customer is inside the store
  • Occasional overtime may be required at additional pay and at least 1 week of notice in advance

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Part-time hours: per week
