Stan Seidenfeld Professional Corporation is a boutique, full-service, public accounting firm based in Toronto, Canada. In addition to our accounting and tax services, we also provide a wide range of advisory services to our corporate and individual clients. We support our clients through every step of their business cycle. Our clients are in many different industries such as dentistry, medicine, law, real estate, retail and manufacturing.

We are currently searching for a Senior Accountant and Supervisor/Manager for our North York office. As integral members of our team, the Senior Accountant and Supervisor/Manager will:

  • Prepare, analyze and maintain accurate financial statements and supporting working papers.
  • Prepare complete corporate tax returns with all applicable schedules.
  • Prepare personal tax returns and tax planning.
  • Mentor junior accounting staff and assist with their professional development.
  • Ensure ASPE is being adhered to properly.

Qualifications:

  • CPA designation or significant process toward obtainment of designation
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent Canadian Accounting experience at a Canadian Public Accounting firm
  • Proficiency in accounting and tax preparation software including Caseware and Tax Prep/Profile
  • Advanced knowledge of Canadian ASPE and financial statement disclosure
  • Strong financial acumen and analytical agility
  • Detail oriented, organized and able to meet tight deadlines
  • Self-motivated, results driven and prefers to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $70,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
