Overview

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various welding techniques and fabrication processes, with a focus on quality and precision. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to read blueprints and schematics, ensuring that all projects are completed to specifications. The Fabricator/Welder will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, contributing to the assembly of components for various applications, including ductwork and construction projects.

Responsibilities

  • Perform MIG ,TIG and stick welding on various materials according to project specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project requirements.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as press brake machines and plasma cutters for fabrication tasks.
  • Conduct rigging operations safely while operating cranes and forklifts as needed.
  • Assemble components accurately while adhering to quality standards.
  • Inspect finished products for defects and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that all tools and equipment are properly stored after use.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and resolve any issues that arise during the fabrication process.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in welding and fabrication within a manufacturing or construction environment.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various machinery including press brake machines and plasma cutters.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Familiarity with rigging techniques, crane operation, and forklift use is preferred.
  • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
  • Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, calipers, and other measuring instruments effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$45.00 per hour
