Responsibilities

  • Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and consistency.
  • Operate the POS system, including Micros POS, for processing orders and payments efficiently.
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately while adhering to cash handling procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas in compliance with sanitation standards.
  • Assist in upselling menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
  • Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all patrons.

Skills

  • Strong background in food preparation and handling within a restaurant or food industry setting.
  • Proficient in using POS systems, particularly Micros POS, with basic math skills for accurate cash handling.
  • Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during peak hours.
  • Demonstrated customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices is essential.
  • Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated individuals.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.85-$19.00 per hour
